What to expect?
- Emotional discussions in an interdisciplinary group of experts, managers from different areas, as well as climate activists.
An innovative and inspiring method of working on forging a strategy and ways to disseminate it,- Realistic challenges, on the basis of which discussions will be held in working groups, and conclusions developed during the meeting will feed the work on systemic implementation of Climate Education in Poland, in which the UN Global Compact is involved
The workshop is part of GCA Social Impact, our annual initiative in which we join forces to support a selected NGO working on systemic and large-scale solutions to social challenges in one of three areas: Climate, Education, and Public Health. So far, Game Changers Academy has funded as many as 9 scholarships for representatives of the non-profit sector, and this is the third time we will organize GCA Social Impact sessions. In previous years, we supported, among others. IP Pomnik Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka and the area of public health – as a result, the KIDS Foundation – Children’s Hospital Innovators Club was established. In 2021, we worked with the Giving Children Strength Foundation (reported here), focusing on the issue of disseminating standards to protect children from abuse. This year, it’s time for the pressing issue of climate catastrophe, and what that entails is working with one of the key international organizations, the United Nations – specifically, the UN Global Compact.
