Iwona Wencel
With nearly 25 years of experience in HR, she has held leadership roles in both Polish and international companies, working across industries such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, finance, media, e-commerce, industrial, and technology. HR is her true passion.
For the past 16 years, she has run her own company, specializing in outsourcing strategic HR functions under the Hourly HR Director model. A pioneer in bringing the HR Business Partnering model to Poland, she has helped shape modern HR practices.
A certified mentor and facilitator, she has extensive experience leading strategy sessions and Team Excellence processes for company boards. She also founded the National Intervention Center—Poland’s first independent ethics line for whistleblowers (whistleblowing).
Her achievements have been recognized in the Businesswoman of the Year competition. President of WNCL Ltd. and author of books.
